The Senior Human Resources Generalist performs a variety of complex Human Resources duties on a professional level, partnering closely with Associates and leadership across the organization, in addition to Human Resources Business Partners and HR functional areas, including payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, talent development, compensation, and Associate relations. This role will assist in developing and executing various Associate policies and procedures, while providing guidance and interpretation for business operations. The incumbent will assist in administering the Bank’s annual review and performance management programs and will be tasked with suggesting new procedures and policies for improving the Associate experience. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will be key in providing front-line support for all HR matters, partnering with Human Resources Business Partners and functional areas as needed. Presenting, analyzing, and tracking data is a key responsibility for this incumbent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support and partnership to various business lines and Associates for Human Resources related matters.
- Facilitate and communicate organizational policies and programs while ensuring labor law and regulatory compliance.
- Gather and present HR-related data as needed to internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of Associate handbook and related policies.
- Facilitate Associate-facing and administrative tasks including onboarding, exit interviews, and data entry and maintenance in the organization’s human resources information system (HRIS).
- Support human resources related audits and quality control.
- Assist and lead HR-related projects and initiatives.
- Generating internal documentation related to performance and talent management.
- Educate newly hired Associates on HR policies and procedures.
- Provide direct Associate relations support as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. Master's Degree is preferred.
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive HR generalist or HR operational experience in a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated experience with associate relations, exit interviews, employee investigations, unemployment claims, and performance conversations.
- Experience supporting managers and Associates across multiple HR disciplines.
- Experience handling sensitive Associate relations matters independently.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems. Workday experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel within the WSFS Bank footprint in the Greater Philadelphia region as needed.

Salary Range:
$77,390.00 - $127,139.75
Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
