Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a related field.
- Experience with federal grants and/or nonprofit accounting is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills required.
- Familiarity with accounting software; experience with fund accounting systems a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks with accuracy and within deadlines.
- Collaborative work style with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience, Education, and Licensure
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Relevant professional experience in a nonprofit or grant-funded environment will be considered in lieu of or in addition to formal education.

LOCATION AND HOURS This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Philadelphia office with potential for hybrid work as team needs allow. Our regular hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and this position requires working occasional evenings and weekends.
COMPENSATION The salary range is $55,000 - $65,000. The benefits package includes generous vacation and sick leave; paid sabbatical leave; early close Fridays; 83% employer-paid health, dental, and vision coverage; short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, 403(b) with an employer match.
While Nationalities Service Center is committed to program sustainability, employment is dependent on the continued availability of funding.
