Job Summary
Comcast’s Corporate Communications team is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that safeguard and elevate our brand and reputation. As a Corporate Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting communications efforts and high-visibility events around key strategic priorities business objectives. The ideal candidate is a hard-working, results-oriented, and proactive strategic and creative thinker with an excellent attention to detail and communications and writing skills. They must be able to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of corporate communications strategies and events around top priorities and moments for the company.
- Draft and refine communications materials – strategic plans, messaging, internal notes, Q&As, fact sheets, and more.
- Help with the planning, coordination, and execution of Comcast’s corporate events. Partner across teams to ensure all events reflect Comcast’s brand, reinforce key messages, and deliver exceptional experiences for all participants.
- Conduct research; monitor media coverage; and maintain databases for executive speaking opportunities.
- Maintain and organize communication tools and resources – invite lists, press contact lists, media monitoring reports, archives, and internal content repositories.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities, tracking deliverables and timelines to ensure the team remains organized and work is executed efficiently.
- Organize a significant flow of work and manage timelines and deliverables to meet deadlines.
- Work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
