JOB PURPOSE/ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Legal Compliance Senior Analyst position within the Advertising State Filing team is responsible for supporting the marketing organization and other stakeholders with obtaining state regulatory approval, where required, for our insured product advertising materials. Promotes a culture of compliance and an understanding of new and existing state advertising compliance issues and related policies and procedures.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as point of contact and subject matter expert for Marketing and Compliance in regard to advertising state filing requirements and procedures.
- Reviews advertising filing requests for completeness, accuracy and supporting documentation.
- Prepares and submits advertising state filing requests, via SERFF (an automated submission system).
- Coordinates and proposes responses to filing objections with Marketing, Legal, Advertising State Filing colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitates escalation of issues to Manager.
- Provides training to Marketing partners and other stakeholders on advertising state filing requirements and internal process
- Other projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD INCLUDE
- Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in health care environment and a good working knowledge of healthcare business is needed
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to compile and analyze regulatory and business information and provide resolutions or recommendations for marketing and other stakeholders;
- Comfortable with technology and learning new software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across a variety of audiences;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities;
- Strong, independent decision-making ability;
- Ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a willingness to learn new areas of the business and regulatory needs
- Highly collaborative individual with the ability to influence others and build strong personal relationships;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
